The Local glasses maker needs someone to make a very important delivery to the local lord. It would seem that in the lord’s old age his eyesight has gotten horribly bad and a special pair of glasses was made just for him. Deliver the glasses to the lord without breaking them.

Jordan had awakened in the woods under a tree, with the sun shining hard trying to break its way through to the ground that was covered by the forest’s thick tree tops. Jordan would look to his left and then to his right, where he would see his friend Kenji sleeping. Kenji had fallen asleep in his meditative position, something that actually made Jordan think he was awake. Jordan would still be looking at Kenji as he would call to him saying “Kenji get up it time for us to get up and go do some work.” The young swordsman would say nothing as he sat perfectly still on the ground.

Jordan would see that Kenji hadn’t responded to him or even made any kind of movement. He would get up and walk over to him, before shaking him a bit before yelling in his ear “Kenji get the hell up man! We were already lucky surviving the night out here in the woods, but we shouldn’t press it by just staying around!” After about a 30 seconds of shaking and yelling the swordsman would open his eyes and look up to see Jordan standing over him still shaking. Kenji would raise his hand which was his way of telling Jordan to stop, to which the teenage boy would do.

After Jordan would stop shaking Kenji, the older boy would stand up and say “Come on like you said we gotta get going.” Kenji would then begin walking towards the town of Airse Garse. Jordan stood there for a moment looking shocked at how fast Kenji had got up and gotten to moving. Jordan looked at the swordsman’s back as he walked off before yelling “How do you just get up and get to moving so fast? Wait up Kenji you know you walk way faster than me!” Jordn would then take off running behind his friend.

After about a 10 minute walk they had arrived at the entrance to the town and immediately Kenji would make his way to the tavern closest to the town’s entrance. Usually the tavern by the entrance to town had a board where traveling magicians could take on less dangerous request that didn’t truly need magic knights. The two were now used to these boards as it had been about a week or so that Jordan had left the magic knights. Doing these jobs was the only way for the duo to eat and buy essentials, without having to inform Jordan’s mother and the Alexius family of his sad decision to leave the magic knight organization.

Kenji with Jordan in tow would arrive at the tavern and begin to look at the request board to find a job that the two could take. After a few moments skimming over the request on the board Kenji would pull a piece of paper down off the board and comedically smash the paper into Jordan’s face before saying “Here’s a job now lets go.” Jordan would grab the paper off his face as the wind would try to blow it away, as he would then quickly read it before walking to follow Jordan who was already walking off.

The two would begin walking to the shop of a eye glass maker who needed something fragile delivered to a client. From the little information given on the flyer the job was most likely to deliver eye glasses to someone, jobs like this always seemed easy but there was always usually some type of inconvenience that makes the job way harder that it really was.

Ozma yawned as he finished his morning training and stretched his limbs a bit, one thing he enjoyed about being trained to be a knight and also now serving as one was that he didn’t have to really change his routine much he still woke and ate breakfast before he would do combat training as well as train his body and mind before he would don his mantel and would begin his work as a Crimson lion. As he went to go get a cup of tea he saw a few jobs laying out and one caught his eye, it was a simple job in Aries Garse delivering an old lord his glasses. The Paint mage grabbed the job and grabbed a pastry to eat on the way as he headed for the broom storage so he could get to the town. He didn’t mind a bit of traveling and it got him some fresh air as well. in all honesty he needed it after the recent events that had been going on his squad and family. After his encounter with the newcomer Leonard in the training hall the mute mage had steered clear of him since his temperament was clearly not the best and needed work badly while he had also heard rumors that there was another mage who was stronger then him but he needed to work on his teamwork and attitude even more.

Ozma had only heard minor details but the jest of it seemed that while this guy could do missions well he ditched two squad members and a civilian in a dungeon which instantly made the paint mage not want to work with them. Having issues with other mages was common but when it came to a job you put things aside till it was done and you never backed out unless you had no choice. Ozma hoped the man got a stern talking to or some form of punishment but that didn’t matter at the moment. His thoughts were cut short as he arrived at his destination and he hopped off his broom and put it away as he walked into Aries Garse. Glancing around the mute mage looked for a street sign to see where he needed to go before he quickly headed towards the direction of the Glasses Shop.’ I do hope that this is done quickly and the streets are clear if I have to do a second trip because these glasses get damage I will not be pleased’ he thought to himself as he stopped where the glasses shop was and encountered two other people stopping there as well.

He quickly pulled out his brush and flicked it into the air to make words for them to read,” hello are you two here to bring the noble his glasses as well” he wrote in the air as he waited for them to answer, they seemed like nice people so the mute noble hoped they would get along well and have no issues.

After Kenji and Jordan would arrive at the glasses shop they would be met by another mage, one with red hair at that. At this point after seeing Kusa, the young teen was used to seeing mages with odd hair colors, but the boldness of the red color was amazing. The mage would begin to draw words in the air, spelling out a sentence in fact. He had asked the two of them were they also there to deliver the noble’s glasses, to which the duo would look at him with just a bit of confusion on their face. Kenji would look to him and say “Yes we are also here to deliver the glasses. Are you also here for that purpose?” He would say it in a very funny and slow way, almost if he thought the teenager was mentally slow.

Jordan would quickly intervene by slapping Kenji in the back of the head comedically before saying “He isn’t slow, if anything you’re the slow one! No actually I think he might be mute, or at the very least he just isn’t a big talker.” He would stop for a moment before completely turning his attention onto the suspected mute male and said “Yes we are here to deliver the glasses for the noble. Im assuming you’re here for the same thing which means we will be working together. My name is Jordan and I apologize for my idiot friend here. His name is Kenji by the way.”

Jordan would then motion everybody to follow him as he walked inside. As he walked inside with Kenji in tow he would see several different pieces of glassware lining the walls of the shop. A lot of these pieces Jordan and even Kenji were familiar withers they were things you would commonly find in a research lab. As they continued to have their eyes wander a middle aged man would come into their view. The man would look at the younger males with a smile and say “Well hello there youngsters my name is Dr. Teo. Im hoping you lot are here to deliver these glasses for me, that noblemen has been on my butt about these things. Do you know he has had that sensory mage of his contact me three times already?” The man would yap away as he would rummage around his back stock looking for the glasses.

After about a minute the man would turn back around and within his hands he held a very large box, well large considering there was supposed to be glasses inside. In truth the box was about the size of a vessel someone would use for their lunch or slightly large. It was decorated in shiny gold trims, and a deep black wood covered the majority of the outer detail. Jordan would look at the box in almost pure awe at how beautiful it was. The young boy went to grab the box however Kenji would quickly intervene by slapping his hand and saying “Now now Jordan, this is a delicate object and we don’t need your crummy teen hands breaking it.” Jordan would pull his hand up close to his face looking at how red it had turned before yelling at Kenji saying “You got some nerve to be talking sir, last I checked you were the one who broke my last invention, and you are only a few years older than me so don’t bring age into this!”

The glass maker would laugh before saying “Now now don’t fight, there’s no time for that I need these delivered fast and in one piece.” The man would end his speech by dropping the box into Kenji’s “adult” hands before beginning to walk off. Jordan would stop him before saying “Hey sir if you have any free time one day or something do you think you can teach me about making glass?” The older man would stop in his tracks, while stopping he would only look back to take a single yet quick glance at the boy. He would let off a grin before he would continue to head into the back room of the store and he would say “If you get this nobleman off my ass I don’t see why not.”
