Kiten. A new land for the young adventurous Valo to feast his eyes upon. With him leaving Kikka to become a magic knight this would be the third official new town he's in less than a month's time. Being a magic knight did have it's perks when it came to stuff like this, Valo always wanted to see and visit new towns and lands now he was getting the chance to. But of course all this travel was for a reason, he was here on a another job. With two successful jobs back to back finding work and slowly making a name for himself was becoming easier and easier, now the fame and notoriety was much harder. But getting the jobs to actually find his path there was going much more smoothly. He had to thank Artemis for that, her taking him on a higher rank job did have it's benefits now taking these junior rank jobs was almost a piece of cake. Even his last job back home in Kikka went smooth, despite all that happened. He hoped to not have to worry about that here since no one in Kiten should know him at all, so he shouldn't be starting off with a bad note. Plus he noticed that little foul play would be going on here, Kiten was known for being heavily fortified unlike Kikka and Hage. There were lots of guards that despite Valo being a magic knight now still made him uneasy. If it was him and his old gang that would have turned around and bolted out of this place from the numbers of them all. Good thing he had on his green mantis cloak, he assumed if it wasn't for that he probably would have been pulled for questioning by now based on his overall appearance. He was getting pretty nasty looks from most of the guards, grilling him with every step he took it reminded him of back home.
Valo was definitely used to the looks so ignoring it was pretty easy, but what as pissing him off was the whispers. Frequently he heard the same thing, the same question that came out in a sneer. "He's a magic knight? Tch they're just accepting anyone nowadays huh. He don't look nothing like a magic knight, looks like some kind of hoodlum with expensive tastes." He heard one of them say to whisper to another guard at his side, looking at Valo up and down. Valo gave them a quick glance with full of anger before turning the other way before he had a repeat of what happened in Kikka. Despite his overall appearance Valo took pride in making it into the magic knights squad, while he hated the cloak they were forced to wear for pure aesthetic reasons his overall honor as knight didn't waver. So when anyone questioned if he was an actual magic knight his blood always boiled with anger, he saw it as massive disrespect. He quickly found himself a quiet alleyway to take deep breaths like he did when he meditated every once in a while. With his anger quelled for the most part, he decided it as time to just proceed with why he was here in the first place.
The job he had to complete this time was finding a missing kitten in Kiten. When he first read the request he thought it was a joke, but the other members in his squad assured him that it was indeed real. Surely a job like this wasn't worth a magic knights time but apparently the lady who put out the request was a wealthy but stressed aristocrat. So with her kind of influence getting a magic knight to do a job like this was easy. But honestly it didn't bother Valo much, while this won't do wonders for overall reputation money was money to him and getting paid by an aristocrat was bound to have it's benefits. Perhaps making a connection with an aristocrat was possible, first impressions were very important. Despite getting snickers from the guards about his overall appearance, Valo was quite confident in his look. His white hair was brushed down more than usual, just to suite the occasion. Instead of wearing a sleeveless shirt, he decided to put on his white button shirt and matched it with grey pants and brown fancy boots. Even his accessories were well thought out a bit more than usual, a silver necklace hung from his neck and rings on his ring finger, index finger and pinky to match. He truly was a hoodlum with expensive taste.
He soon made his way to the aristocrats home, which was a large white home with a pretty regal appearance. You could easily tell this person was well off, it just had Valo grinning from ear to ear. At the front door he was met with a butler type, a average height man in a black and white butler's outfit. He met Valo with a small bow. "You must be the magic knight here for Lady Ana's request. Please follow me, she is very worried and awaits you in her dining room." The butler did a quick look up and down at Valo. "Lady Ana will be pleased." the gesture caught Valo off guard, but he ignored it better to get this job over and done with to get out of this town. The butler did a quick spin and lead Valo inside. Valo got a good look at the place and whoever this lady was she definitely well off expensive furniture everywhere.
"Aahh! Is this him!? The magic knight I requested??!" A loud shriek of a voice greeted Valo as he walked in. Lady Ana dashed into the room. She was an older women, but it was hard to guess the age. She looked very mature but also young, one could guess late twenty's. She also a very pretty, her make up and regal appearance surely helped with that but even without she some natural beauty. Valo's eyes widened a bit, he didn't expect this. He had a much older lady in mind who had pimples on her face and was a sworn cat lady. But before Valo could get a word out. "Ah yes! It is a magic knight! And from Green Mantis! Surely their renown completing tasks exceeds expectations! And to send me such a tall one! And well dressed! Ooooohhh and so handsome!" Lady Ana squealed getting a good look at Valo, then reaching in and squeezing him tight.
Valo simply let himself be taken in by Lady Ana. His face full on confusion. What have I walked into was the thought that spun in his head.

After the rather awkward embrace Lady Ana let Valo go, still holding him rather close though about a forearms distance. Valo smiled back awkwardly, he wasn't used to being hugged out the blue but considering her and situation he didn't mind it.
"Yes I'm here to find your cat, names Valo...uh nice to meet ya." he said separating himself from her and readjusting his outfit. Perhaps his outfit idea worked, he didn't think it would at all but he was learning this world had a bunch of different characters to meet. Getting an even better look at her she was indeed a looker, perhaps Valo shouldn't act so coy and turn on the charm. He started to slant his eyes a little, and brush his white hair out the way of his eyes. These were honestly just moves and gestures he saw other men do in the his hometown when they were trying to charm some women. Valo had no experience with it, but why not give it a shot.
"Do you have any leads on where I can find your kitten?" Valo asked her with a completely different tone of voice from before, it was blatantly obvious that he was now indeed trying to flirt with her. So much so the butler behind him sighed, but for some reason these meager attempts would work. Lady Ana blushed hard her right hand holding onto her right cheek perhaps do to the embarrassment.
"I. Uh. I do not unfortunately. The last time I saw Mrs. Snugglepuff she was in my room, I walked out to grad some tea. When I walked back in she was gone, just like that nowhere to be found! It has been two days! and I'm worried sick! Oh please Valo would you be able to help me?" she pleaded to him, her hands coming together now similar to a prayer fashion. Valo smirked to himself whatever he was doing it was working much to his surprise. But he did start to think about the job at hand, if the last place she saw the kitten was in her bedroom, perhaps he should check there fist just to see if there was any clues. He took a step closer to her and gently touched her hands placing his over her own.
"Of course I can help you Lady Ana, my heart will not rest until Mrs. Snugglepuff is back in your arms. Now If you may show me to your room to check for any clues." he said to her with even more flirtatious charm in his voice. While on the outside he looked like a kind charming young mind. In his mind his true self was grinning from ear to ear, a bunch of corrupt thoughts started to fill in his young mind. "O-Of course." she said instantly
They made their way up the stairs towards her room, Valo was behind her scoping how nice her house was. Truly a place he wouldn't mind crashing here every once in a while after a touch mission or when the members on his squad started to annoy him. In the far back of his mind he was thinking of all the fine piece of furniture he could steal with him and his old gang. This place would have been the jackpots of jackpots If they ever came around to something like this, he still had some thoughts to bring his gang over and rob the place for everything it's got. But Valo quickly shushed all thoughts like that out his mind, he was now a changed man things like that were behind him. He was now a devoted magic knight and believe it or not little to nothing was going to change that. He had something to prove. But instantly his eyes became very focused while his sensory skills weren't on Artemis level they were well trained, and as they approached the her room he felt a presence their that may have been unwanted.
"Lady Ana is there anyone here beside's us?" he whispered to her quickly, now taking the lead and stopping her from opening her door. His index finger over his lips to notify her to whisper.
"No there shouldn't be." she whispered in response
"Stand back." he said pushing the door open quickly. Catching three robbers dressed in all black in the act. All three had black bags on their shoulders, when they saw the door open and met eyes with Valo they scrambled around trying to readjust themselves.
"Aaaaahhhh! Burglars In my home!" Lady Ana shrieked.
"Out the window one of the screamed!" but unfortunately for him he was furthest away from the window, Valo dashed quickly grabbing him by the arm. Valo twisted his body placing his back into the robber's chest still holding onto his arm he performed an over the shoulder throw slamming him into the ground. Valo's right fist connected with his jaw quickly stunning him for quite a while.
"M-my word." words escaped the butlers mouth. Lady Ana looked frightened but at the same time intrigued.
"Call the guards!" Valo shouted "I'm getting your cat back miss." Valo started to take after the other two robbers who went threw the window. He went into a full sprint and hopped out of the window in a dive, while still in the air he did rotated his body into flip and landed on his feet. It was quite the acrobatic feat Valo though to himself, but his sprint continued after the robbers. This was going to be quick and easy, they decided to run into an alley way in order to avoid the guards but with Valo on their back they wouldn't even make it out the alley way. Do to the nervousness one of them tripped in the alley dropping his bag and small meow escaped the bag. As the robber was on the ground all he saw was Valo in the air landing a his knee into his partners back, knocking him into the ground as well. It was over.
Valo walked back to the robber who tripped casually after landing some brutal punches to his partners face. A wide grin on Valo's face showing his true nature a man who does violence and never really takes it easy on his opponents. The robber tried to beg for mercy, but Valo wasn't going to grant it. Some solid kicks to the face would shut him up. "Why would you dumbasses come back after stealing her cat? Such idiots welp I ain't gonna complain you guys saved me a load of trouble." he said making his way over to the bag with the kitten in it. He picked it up and met Lady Ana and her butler just outside the alley. The guards in the town quickly rushed to arrest the burglars in the alley way.
"Lady Ana. Here is Mrs. Snugglepuff." Valo said returning he kitten back to her.
"Valoooo! You truly are the best!" she squealed holding Mrs. Snugglepuss in her arms, then bringing Valo in for another hug.
Valo simply grinned with another successful job under his belt.
